Stefano Semeraro was born in Bologna in 1963 where he still lives today. He loves travelling, tennis, rugby, motorsport and the history of sports in general. From 1986 to 1996 he was the editor of the tennis magazine Matchball before moving on to the motorsport fortnightly publication Rombo. He has been covering tennis for La Stampa for 25 years now, and since 2002, rugby as well; he has covered more than 60 Grand Slam tournaments live, as well as 2 Olympic Games, 3 rugby World Cups, 4 editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and has also reported on cultural and societal matters. He is one of the founders of the InPagina publishing house that has been publishing the Italiaracing.net website since 2002. He has been the director of the literary journal “Versodove” since 1994 and collaborates/has collaborated with the Corriere della Sera, Il Tennis Italiano, Vanity fair, Il Giornale Sky, il Corriere dello Sport and AllRugby. He is a tennis commentator for Eurosport Italia during Grand slam tournaments and has written 3 books: “Centre Court”, “Dindo Capello – the job of winning” and “Sport Stories”. In 1999 he reached the finals of the Dario Bellezza poetry competition with a poetry collection entitled “Two Winters”.
