Alessio Carli

Alessio Carli was born in Pisa in 1969. He holds a degree in Contemporary History with a thesis on the crisis in Italy in 1918-1922 and is a professional journalist. He is a member of the editorial staff of the television channel 50 Canale and he is the Pisa correspondent for La Gazzetta dello Sport (for which he has penned the accompanying texts of several DVD collections). He has written books about cinema “Cinedipendente – I film con la Torre di Pisa” volumi 1 e 2 (Cinedipendente – movies that feature the Tower of Pisa volumes 1 and 2), football “Un secolo di calcio a Pisa” (a century of football in Pisa), “Campioni e bidoni” (Champions and losers ) co-written with Aldo Gaggini, and his hometown of Pisa “Il tuo quariere: Pisanova, San Biagio, San Michele” (Your neighbourhood: Pisanova, San Biagio, San Michele).
