Angelo Falchetti studied design and founded his own company. He believes in combining creativity and free thought with a pragmatic approach to business – balance sheets reflect a certain reality but people are the ones who breathe life into it all. He co-founded Dada with some friends in 1995 and was its CEO until 2008. From the very beginning of the Internet he was personally involved in the development of many web platforms. From 2009 to 2011 he was a member of the local government of his city (Florence) and worked on issues such as the budget, subsidiary companies, employment and innovation. In 2011 he was appointed chairman of Mercafir ScpA, the wholesalers’ company managed by the Municipality of Florence. In 2014 he co-founded the innovative hospitality platform Roommo Srl with some friends. As the company’s CEO, he personally oversees the platform’s development and organization.
