Terremotocentroitalia is a project that was instigated following the earthquake of the 24th of August by the Italian civic hacking community. Its aim is to record and compound important data regarding the earthquake and disseminate it among the aid-workers operating on the ground.
The project has united dozens of activists from various walks of life. Together they have built a platform for sharing warnings, information and updates on crisis-hit areas with the aim to help local populations.
