Armando Corridore

Armando Corridore is founder and director of Elara, an independent publishing house specialized in fantastic literature; he is the editor of the Italian edition of “The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction”. He organized music concerts and several events concerning fantastic literature like the international congress about John Campbell Jr held in Rome in 2010 and the first Sicilian convention about SF and fantastic literature, Aetnacon, in Catania. Since 2012 he organizes “Italcon” the main Italian event for fantastic fiction in all media. He studied music composition with Adriano Guarnieri, Francesco Carluccio and Karlheinz Stockhausen and he is active on national and international music scene as a composer. In his compositions he carries on a musical research joining the expressiveness of the sounds of natural instruments with their transfiguration through live electronic transformations.
