Massimo Russo has been the director of Wired Italia since June 2013.
Prior to this he worked as a contents editor and founded the visual desk at the digital division of the Espresso Publishing Group.
Massimo started working as a journalist in 1990 and it took him 10 years of working for daily newspapers before he arrived at the web. He has since co-authored “Eretici digitali” (Digital Heretics) with Vittorio Zambardino.
He maintains that innovation is an inalienable right, he believes in windsurfing and doubts pretty much everything else. He is married and has two children.
