Architect and Town Planner.
Graduated in Architecture at Polytechnic University of Milan in 1999, he’s an expert in cycle infrastructures planning, traffic calming, redesign and regeneration of open public spaces.
Professional partner at Polinomia’s engineering transport planning company based in Milan since 2001, he worked on the “MiBici” Bicycle Plan for the Province of Milan.
Consultant for the Municipality of Reggio Emilia on the implementation of the Biciplan, traffic calming and 20 Mph Zones design interventions since 2008, he worked on the redesign project for the City Centre main through road – the Emilia Street – awarded by the University of Ferrara for its peculiar attention on road safety issues.
Head of the Scientific Committee of Salvaiciclisti (Save the cyclists) bottom-up movement since 2012; Scientific Director of Bikenomics srl since 2015.
His professional expertise varies from the definition of Sustainable Mobility Plans and Urban Traffic Plans to detailed design of pedestrian/cycling routes and traffic calming interventions.
This topics are also the focus for teaching activities within academic courses and updating programs for Local Authorities.
