Michele Mezza has been a journalist for the Rai network for 36 years. She was previously the network’s special envoy in Moscow and Beijing and now works on the technological reorganization of the newsrooms, unifying the various departments. She is project manager for RAINews24. She currently teaches Digital Culture at the Department of Social Science of the Federico II University in Naples. She manages the department’s digital community mediasenzamediatori.org. The main themes of her class this year will be « The thumb, the transition of alphanumeric thought in mobility ». She founded and manages the PollicinAcademy , the first research and analysis centre for mobile phone language chaired by Michel Serres. She writes a blog on digital journalism on the HuffingtonPost.
