Francesco Di Costanza is a communications and social networking expert. He has penned several books on the matter: “Citizens of Twitter. New communications in local public services” (2012, Indiscreto Stefano Olivari Editore), “The city of Twitter” (Anci Toscana – Polistampa Editore, 2013) and “WhatsApp in the city? The new frontier of public communication” (2015, Indiscreto Stefano Olivari Editore). He is founder and director of the first online daily publication in Italy exclusively dedicated to new public and private communication trends: www.cittadiniditwitter.it. He is a promoter of #pasocial, a group constituted of press office managers, communicators and governmental, ministerial and presidential social media managers that focuses on developing new forms of communication in public administration bodies and institutions. He writes a blog on Tiscali and has organized many conventions, training courses and presentations on new online and social network communications. Together with several public transport companies, he has founded the #socialbus network, the first European network for the development of social communication in the transport sector. He promotes many campaigns and initiatives for online and social networking for public information and public administration services.
