Ashvin is a project that first saw the light in Autumn 2014 in the countryside of Pisa. The sounds of the new goa scene encounter those of the local tradition, with one eye on the dance-floor and another on psychonaut music. The duo is composed of DJ and producer Tony Vallini and Dome La Muerte, musician and DJ. Their sound mingles modern rhythmic sounds accompanied by sequencers and synthesizers like the ones used in the 90’s/early 2000.
The two members of Ashvin are perfectly complementary since Tony represents the digital and Dome the analogical sphere. For this reason they have chosen the name of a twin deity: the Ashwin are believed to be children of the cloud goddess and the sun god, as well as the physicians of the gods in various oriental cultures.
