Daniel Bonvoisin

Daniel Bonvoisin Former journalist in international relations and chief editor of a magazine dedicated to North/South relationships, Daniel Bonvoin is working at Média Animation (association of media education) since 2006. He is now manager of the lifelong education team of Média Animation, a sector dedicated to socio-cultural activities with adults. Holding a master degree in international relations, he is also a teacher trainer and invited professor at the Institute of Higher Studies of Social Communication (IHECS, Brussels) in courses related to new medias issues and contemporary uses of the game. His priority areas are political dimensions of popular culture through fiction (especially cinema and game), challenges of new medias, representations of current international issues and intercultural issues. He often publishes analyses and contributes in researches on these issues. He also coordinates the film festival of media education against racism “À Films Ouverts”.
