Gianluca Dini

Gianluca Dini graduated from the University of Pisa with a degree in Electronic Engineering in 1990 and obtained a PhD at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa in 1995. In 1993 he became a university researcher at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Pisa, where he rose to the rank of Associate Professor in 2000. His main professional, didactic and scientific focus is cybersecurity in online computer systems. He has published more than 100 papers in journals and international convention minutes and has coordinated and overseen numerous projects funded by the EU, the Italian government and private businesses. He is currently in charge of the Level I Master’s degree in Cybersecurity and represents the University of Pisa at the National Cybersecurity Workshop. Also, he was a member of the Codacons experts’ committee on the Costa Concordia disaster.
