Luca Randazzo

luca randazzo

Luca Randazzo was born in the turbulent Milan of the 1970’s and enjoyed a relatively carefree childhood surrounded by nature in the Trentino region. Heading for definite failure in astrophysics, he discovered a passion for teaching and began teaching at elementary school with great enthusiasm. He lives in Pisa where he engages in social activism. His life became complete when he reconnected with a lost love and her set of kids and together they have created a beautiful family. He writes young adult novels when time permits, i.e. during the summer holidays, by the sea, in the mountains, or on the road trips in his beloved old truck.
He has published the following young adult novels: “Le Città Parallele” (Salani, 2008), “Il Principe Sultano” (Campanila, 2013), “L’estate di Giacomo” (Rizzoli, 2014) and “Sunita’s Diary” (Rizzoli, 2016). In 2014, he received the Premio Bancarellino literary prize for his book “Il Principe Sultano” (Edizioni Campanila, 2013).
